Refund policy

Every return is handled with the same precision and professionalism that define our products. The details below explain how to start a return, what qualifies, and how refunds are issued.

1. Return Window & Eligibility

  • You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
  • Items must be in the same condition as received: unused, uninstalled, with all tags/accessories, and in original packaging.
  • Please retain your order number or proof of purchase for verification.

  • Our specialists will review your request and confirm next steps within 1–2 business days.
  • Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

3. Return Labels & Addresses

  • If your return is approved, we will provide a prepaid return label and instructions.
  • Defective/incorrect items: YPC covers return shipping.
  • Change-of-mind returns: return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund (we will confirm any costs before you ship).
  • Freight & Oversized Returns: For returns of oversized items shipped via LTL freight due to buyer's remorse or ordering the wrong item, the customer is responsible for the return freight cost. The item must be securely strapped or shrink-wrapped to a pallet for the carrier to accept the return pickup.
  • The correct return address will be provided in your authorization email; please do not ship items to any address not specified.

4. Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Installed or used items, including products showing signs of wear, mounting, or exposure to the elements.
  • Custom or special-order items, including made-to-order or configured products.
  • Cut-to-length materials (e.g., rope/lines, hose, cable) once cut.
  • Electrical/electronic components that have been installed or connected.
  • Clearance/final sale items, gift cards, and items marked non-returnable.
  • Hazardous materials where return transport is restricted (e.g., certain chemicals or pressurized goods).

5. Damages & Issues

  • Please inspect your order upon delivery and notify us immediately of any defects, damage, or incorrect items.
  • For freight/oversized shipments, note visible damage on the delivery receipt and report concealed damage within 48 hours with photos of the product and packaging.
  • We will evaluate and make it right as quickly as possible.

6. Exchanges

  • To receive an alternative item quickly, we recommend placing a new order and returning the original after approval.
  • Once your return is approved and received, we'll process your refund per the policy below.

7. Refunds

  • We will notify you once your return is received and inspected.
  • If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 3–10 business days after processing.
  • Original shipping charges (including freight delivery fees) are non-refundable unless the item was defective or shipped in error by YPC.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund approval and you have not received funds, please contact us at support@yachtprotectionconcepts.com.
